a legacy from 1863 to today…
our past, present and future…
April 13, 2021
Cottagers & Visitors,
Greetings in the name of the Lord.
“Hope” is alive as our theme for 2021 SSCMA!
Confident in God’s continued healing hand and His plans for our beloved SSCM, we are pleased to announce a return to in-person camp in 2021. Many areas of concern from last year are now heading in positive directions. We will need to continue to balance safety and spirituality as we plan for our July 11-25 Camp Meeting. In addition to in-person services, we plan to offer virtual services during camp meeting for those who are unable to attend services in the Tabernacle.
Next Board of Directors steps include development of a list of health/safety protocols (distancing, masks, etc.) and assessment of implications on services, use of buildings and our many activities.
In the meantime, maintain your focus on the Lord as we prepare:
Healing following the pandemic
Order to survive and thrive
Peace from our Lord
Encouragement for our brothers & sisters
Our SSCM Board will reunite in-person for the Memorial Weekend meeting in the Tabernacle on May 29th at 10AM.
Pray. Be safe. Be well. Pray.
On behalf of the SSCM Board,
Grant Karsner
Servant Leader and SSCM President
