Cottagers & Visitors,
Greetings in the name of the Lord.

For the safety and health of the Cottagers and Visitors, we have decided to redirect 2020 SSCM camp to an e-series of “morning bible study and evening services” while eliminating other activities.   God in Genesis 1-2 calls us to be good stewards of creation, including one another. This decision was extremely difficult.  At this point, churches are not holding in-sanctuary services, sadly 11,000+ NJ residents have died in just the last couple of months and a substantial majority of our Cottagers are in the higher-risk age category.  Please know that every Board member would prefer to have our traditional, in-person camp.  However, your safety and health must remain our first focus.

During this time of transition, we request your prayers and patience as we move forward.   Flexibility and understanding will be required.  We will be in contact with our visiting churches and organizations to redirect our 2020 invitation to attending our e-services.  Please direct questions to grant.karsner@gmail.com

Finally, remain confident in the Lord.  Over the last 157 years, our beloved camp has endured wars, an economic depression, 9/11 and untold additional challenges.  Please maintain the quiet confidence provided by Philippians 4:  6-7 for peace and perspective.

Pray.  Be Safe.  Be Well. Pray.

With blessings from your President and servant leader,
